Hi friend,
As you know, Microsoft ends their support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025, and while migrating your systems is a lot simpler these days (no discs required), it’s not uncomplicated either.
The biggest risks include not upgrading, or upgrading to Windows 11 on PCs that don’t meet Microsoft’s minimum requirements. Here’s what these risks mean:
- Without Microsoft support, you won’t receive updates. This includes critical security patches that fix known vulnerabilities (an easy avenue for cybercriminals to exploit).
- Compatibility issues mean your systems could crash easily or run poorly, and when you do encounter problems, they won’t be covered by warranty. Without Microsoft’s support, you take on the full risk yourself.
If you don’t have one already, suffice it to say that you need a migration roadmap, and fast. We’re here to help.
Food for thought: navigating hardware upgrades can be more efficient through an affordable Hardware-as-a-Service lease.
